Chrysler Builds an NEV

Autoblog has this entry about the new Peapod Neighborhood Electric Vehicle from Chrysler's GEM division: http://www.autobloggreen.com/2009/02/05/peapod-now-out-on-its-own-will-it-find-love/ The car is expensive and it is being launched in a dificult period as far as I can see - but I hope that it succeeds. It is a very interesting design and the car could be exported to other countries where speeds are not as critical as they are in the USA - South Asia comes to mind as always. Let's see how Fiat, Chrysler's new owners, decide to take the company forward.
